A Lifelong Home for the Animals Who Can't Go Back
Some animals recover from their injuries but can never survive on the streets again — the paralyzed, the blind, the elderly, the ones whose trauma runs too deep. At most shelters in the world, these animals would be euthanized. At TAWF's Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, they get something almost no street animal in Pakistan ever receives: a permanent, safe home.
Who Lives Here
Our sanctuary is home to more than 500 rescued animals at any given time: dogs, cats, equines, cows, goats, and birds. Many are survivors of road accidents left with permanent injuries, working animals abandoned after years of carrying heavy loads, or elderly animals discarded when they became too weak to serve. Each one has a name, a story, and caregivers who know them individually. No species is turned away.
Life at the Sanctuary
Residents receive daily feeding, veterinary care from our hospital team, and open space to simply live. Our carers provide the routine and affection that lets traumatized animals learn to trust again — finally free from fear, surrounded by dignity and safety.
